AYTUĞ TURAN – BIOGRAPHY
Born in Istanbul in 2015, Aytuğ Turan is the only child of Nilay Barlas Turan (a doctor) and Tuğhan Turan (a professor), both of whom are writers.
Having successfully completed his early education—spanning nursery, kindergarten, and primary school—at Bilfen, TED, and Bahçeşehir Colleges respectively,
He is currently continuing his middle school education at Liv College, where he is also successfully pursuing foreign language studies in English and German.
While working to enhance his competencies with professional mentorship support, he also undertakes specialized training in various fields and earns corresponding certifications.
A nature lover with an adventurous spirit, he enjoys hobbies such as camping in a caravan and traveling domestically and abroad;
He is also actively involved in a wide range of activities—from coding to taekwondo—that foster his mental and physical development.
He performs concerts thanks to the drum training he has received,
And he has taken the stage in theater productions after training at the Istanbul Drama Arts Academy during the tenure of Artistic Director Ayla Algan.
He participates in individual chess tournaments holding a license from the Turkish Chess Federation (under the Ministry of Youth and Sports).
As a licensed athlete, he has competed in basketball tournaments as part of the Solex Academy Sports Club Men’s Basketball Team (most recently the U-11 squad),
And he has achieved success and won medals in various activities, including the International Einstein Science Olympiad.
Having taken the first step on his journey as an author at the age of 11 with the motto "Choose to read, shine bright!", Turan now presents his debut (story) book.
This precious work by the young author—who crowns their passion for reading and storytelling with this project, and which represents a delightful journey through their imagination—will be published and presented to readers in 2026...
